My Review

5 of 5 Sia

Sia is one of those stories where you start reading and you instantly are like WTF what is going on because you are instantly hit with a dozy. I loved every minute of this story and could not put it down to save my life.

We get to meet Sia who wakes up on a park bench with no memory of who she is or where she is. She meets another homeless women Carol who helps her by bringing her to a soup kitchen where she encounters a guy there who is mean to her and she does not know why. So she runs out of the soup kitchen where she runs in the street and gets hit by a car. Once she is taken to the hospital she is told she has amnesia and her parents are contacted.

When Sia sees her parents for the first time to her since she lost her memory she is surprised at who they are. Her mother is acting weird and she realizes when she goes home that her mother is an alcoholic. What a way to find out your mother has an issue. What Sia does not realize is she was a real BIATCH to people and when she gets her memory back she is going to see how she really was.

When Sia goes home and returns to school everyone around her flock to her and start treating her like she is the queen B. At a loss for why these people are acting this way she finds out that she was a mean snob that always messed with people. Then she sees the guy from the soup kitchen Kyle and she tries to talk to him but he is not having any of that because she picked on him.

So Sia has decided she wants to change who she is and how she treats people. So she decides to help Kyle out with his project he has and together they show each other what a true friend is and what it means to stand by someone through thick and thin.

Reviews for SIA

“A compelling read full of intrigue, romance, and lots of surprises. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next!” - Jennifer Read Hawthorne, #1 New York Times bestselling author

“There have been very few books that made me think they made to someday become a movie (i.e. Warm Bodies, The Host). And I guess Sia can join the club, because this book, I say, is perfect for it. I felt like I was reading a script for a movie, the plot is fantastic and the characters are great, there's a little of humor as well as tragic situations.” -Bookish Randomness

“Well I finished this book amazingly fast. This whole book will leave you amused, intrigued, in awe, and most importantly in love with the whole story line until the very last word. I'll have to go with 5 stars for this book.” - Lovely Reads

“Beautifully written…this one will have you reflecting on your current and past actions. Although a fiction, Sia inspires.” –A Starry-eyed Heart Review
