Will love survive the quest for immortality?

Sofia de Vargas’ research into the Alpine Moon flower and its elixir of immortality will threaten the very existence of an ancient Scottish order. Dougal, the Earl of Rothmore must prove his loyalty to his masters, the Knights Templar, and bring her body back to Kilmarnock. Sofia is kidnapped and imprisoned on the isolated Isle of Rothmore.

Is Dougal her sworn enemy...or her saviour?

My Review
5 of 5 Summer Of The Moon Flower

Summer Of The Moon Flower was such a great read for me. First I have to say I LOVE Steam Punk books. Lord the twists and turns and the descriptions in this book had me plastered to my seat and I had to stay where I was to finish reading it.

What would you do if you had to chose between Immortality or Love? Would you chose love? Love can hold many things for you and to have that special person by your side can mean everything. But on the other hand Immortality, Immortality means you live forever and can have and do whatever you want? Well this is the decision Sofia de Vargas has to make.

She has done some research on the Alpine Moon Flower and it's elixir of life. She is very intrigued by this idea and has decided she wants to do extensive research on the flower. When she does she uncovers some secrets that threaten to uncover a secret Scottish Order. When the order finds out they decide she must die because she is a threat to their society that they have kept secret for a long time and that is how they plan to keep it.

So they enlist Dougal The Earl Of Rothmore. He has to prove himself to The Knights Templar and in proving himself he must bring back the head of Sofia to The Knights. But what will Dougal do when he meets Sofia? Will he be able to kill her or will he kidnap her and keep her safe? Dougal has to make a decision and one that is not to be taken lightly.

What will Dougal do? Will he become friend or foe? Will he chose love or will he chose loyalty?
Annie Seaton lives on the beautiful east coast of Australia, where she loves sitting in her writing chair, gazing at the ocean and writing stories. She has always been fascinated by all things historical and has found her niche writing contemporary romance and steampunk, where strong heroines and brooding heroes fight together to make their alternative world a better place.

Her debut novel, Holiday Affair, a contemporary romance set in the South Pacific was released as part of Entangled Publishing’s Indulgence line in March. The sequel Italian Affair will be available in Spring 2013. Watch out for the story of Tom, and Brianna the sex therapist who spices up his life!

Winter of the Passion Flower and the sequel, Summer of the Moon Flower , the adventures of Sofia and her Scottish laird are Annie's foray into the world of historical fantasy-- steampunk.

Annie is already looking forward to the rest of the series, particularly the adventures of Indigo’s four boys: Jago and Jory, Ruan and Kit. Strong sassy heroines and
rebellious heroes have a rollicking good time as they work to make the world a better place--
albeit their own steampunk world.

Blind Lust, is Annie's favorite novel. Despite the title...it is a sweet romance about a witch and her difficult choice between two men.
